Silence For Speech

October 1, 2020 By Pam Pulizzi

Can You Go 24 Hours Without Talking?

Here at the Orange Effect Foundation we know that some people go their whole lives without being able to verbally communicate. Our mission is to provide early intervention for children who have speech issues and help them communicate.

One in nine children need some form or speech therapy. Often families cannot afford it, and insurance coverage is limited or non existent.

This year we are asking you to walk in their shoes by not verbally communicating with anyone for 24 consecutive hours anytime the weekend of November 13-15!  You can make signs, text, try hand signals, but NO talking!

Invite your kids to try it too! Create a team with your family or co-workers!

Our goal is to raise $100,000 with ALL proceeds going directly to Orange Effect grant recipients.
