Listening and Sharing in the New Year

January 29, 2026 By Pam Pulizzi

I’ve written before about how much I love the new year and making new goals and resolutions. One of mine for this year is to try to talk less and listen more. Ever since my kids were little, one of my favorite expressions has been “there’s a reason you have two ears to listen and one mouth to speak”.

Now that my child on the spectrum is a grown adult with an amazing full-time job and a nice group of peers, I feel a little out of the loop with the issues that might be facing parents with young children today.

So I am here to listen. I’m asking you to let me know what things you’re finding success with, what things you’re struggling with, what things you are looking for resources for, or what things you’ve found to be the most amazing resources. I’ll combine them and share with our community so we can continue to help each other grow.
