The Orange Effect Foundation is proud to announce it’s Second Quarter Grants for 2023. With a commitment to empowering children and young adults with speech disorders, the foundation has awarded a total of $43,254 to 21 individuals across the United States. These grants have been selected through a rigorous review process led by the dedicated members of the Orange Effect Board of Directors. Through their unwavering dedication, the foundation continues to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young adults.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to find their voice, to express themselves, and to be understood.” said Jacqueline Columbro, Orange Effect Foundation Board Member. “By granting funds for speech therapy, summer speech camps, and speech devices, we help empower children with speech disorders to overcome their challenges and unlock their full potential.”
The Orange Effect Foundation’s grants are drawn from our generous supporters, including participants in, and donors of, the 100 Holes of Golf Marathon and the OEF Golf for Autism.
All in all, the Orange Effect Foundation has funded 372 children in 37 states. Grants have purchased 95 speech devices and more than 7,000 hours of speech therapy. The next deadline to submit a grant application is August 1, 2023. Information about the application process and upcoming events can all be found at www.theorangeeffect.org.
