Traveling the Spectrum

January 30, 2025 By Pam Pulizzi

Did you know that 87% of families with children on the Autism Spectrum do NOT take vacations?

I am always hesitant to share links that require a paid subscription to access it but I can’t pass this one up.

We are blessed to know the family of one of the creators of a new show that highlights three families who have a loved one with Autism and are taking a vacation. Peter’s (one of the creators) mom was our oldest child’s choir director in elementary school and helped tutor them when they were trying out for high school theatre.

Congrats to Peter Prokop and the team at The WorkShop on Traveling the Spectrum! So great to see a show that gives us a glimpse into the challenges and joys of living with autism.  You’ll really enjoy watching as Brayden, Mikko, Max and their families head to Myrtle Beach in the six-part series on Peacock.

Even if you don’t have a loved one with Autism, this show will melt your heart and help remind us of the importance of getting out of our comfort zones, trying new things, meeting new people and celebrating life.

From the website:

Dive into the heartwarming world of Traveling the Spectrum. Embark on an unforgettable journey with three families living with autism. Join them on an epic vacation as they make memories that will last a lifetime.

Don’t miss out! Watch the trailer, share it with your friends, and be sure to check the link in our bio for more information. Let’s spread awareness and celebrate the beauty of inclusion together!
